Cabinet design and artwork inspiration

I've been giving the design of the cabinet some thought, I'll have to come up with some plans soon and sharpen my saw.  I'm looking for a fairly simple cabinet design so that I can miniaturise it but keep it authentic.  It also needs to be a cabinet that means something to me.  I short listed Outrun, Robotron and Gauntlet as favourites that I remember playing fondly.

This is my favourite right now, and of course as I will only have room for 1 joystick the control panel will have to be the Wizard....maybe with a "Wizard needs food" startup sound thrown in!  Now to track down some dimensions...
